In alignment with the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education, the objective of physical education in elementary school is to get students moving and teach them a wide variety of movement and fitness skills to foster a lifetime of physical activity and fitness. We will touch on many different kinds of activities and practice common skills that lead up to modified physical activities. All of the lessons/activities that are used in elementary physical education have rules that have been differentiated to meet all student levels and abilities and maximize movement time for everyone.
